Rehabilitation of the Knysna Garden Route

This rehabilitation project aims to rehabilitate Knysna and surrounding areas after the devastating fires in 2017 and plans on planting indigenous trees and shrubs in cooperation with other interested parties in a bid to restore the area in time to its former glory. Not only is the areas natural fauna and flora breathtakingly beautiful, but also plays a very important role in for example curbing water erosion. The Garden Route, of which Knysna forms part, is known for its natural beauty and attracts thousands of tourists every year.
