Kimberley branch buys water tanks to tackle problems
The AfriForum branch in Kimberley purchased two additional water tanks of 1 000 litres each to prepare the city should water problems arise.
This provision is made considering water supply problems that have previously been experienced in parts of Kimberley. In situations such as these, the water tanks can subsequently be transported by AfriForum members to affected neighbourhoods to supply community members with water.
“As a result of this latest purchase, we now have five water tanks available of 1 000 litres each to be used during emergencies, and we are ready to assist members of the public should water problems arise again,” says Gideon Gouws, Chairperson of AfriForum’s Kimberley branch.
Residents of Kimberley are encouraged to become involved with the branch: SMS your name and surname to 32532 (R1) to support this action.
