Cooperation between AfriForum 911 and SAPS results in farm attack arrest

Three suspects were arrested yesterday morning at around 01:50 after a farm attack in the Overberg district, in which a farmer and his sun suffered respectively hand and back injuries. The son is in a stable condition in hospital. Thanks to the SAPS’s quick response, and AfriForum 911 following up on clues, the suspects could be arrested.

“Cooperation between the community and the SAPS is of the utmost importance to combat crime continuously. We are thankful that we were able to help quickly,” says Johandré van Zyl, AfriForum’s Regional Safety Coordinator for the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape.
