AfriForum’s #YourTown campaign: Margate branch contributes to road safety

AfriForum’s Margate branch recently contributed to the promotion of road safety in the town by donating traffic signs to the Margate Business Association (MBA) and Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality. These traffic signs were put up in Margate’s central business district.

“We are truly happy about the opportunity to secure the safety our town’s streets along with the MBA and the municipality,” says Pat McCabe, the Margate branch Representative in the Local Government Affairs Portfolio.

“AfriForum’s #YourTown campaign is aimed at solving problems in towns ourselves and road safety makes up a big part thereof. We would like to thank the business chamber and the municipality for their positive attitude to make a contribution to our town’s appearance,” adds Adolf Oosthuizen, Chairperson of AfriForum’s Margate branch.
