AfriForum’s Grootfontein neighbourhood watch gets repeater for radio network; can expand

The AfriForum neighbourhood watch in Grootfontein, Pretoria, has recently received a repeater for their radio network.

“This is an important function without which the neighbourhood watch cannot function successfully. To effectively communicate within the neighbourhood watch structure is of critical importance and now that we have this repeater, we can expand further,” says Lambert de Klerk, AfriForum’s District Coordinator for Gauteng.

De Klerk wants to encourage members of the community to join their local neighbourhood watch. Do this by sending an SMS with the word “Buurtwag” to 45341 (R1) or sending an email to lambert@afriforum.co.za and by doing so, make a difference in your community.
