AfriForum’s Endicott farm watch picked up an alleged thief
Members of AfriForum’s Endicott farm watch that forms part of AfriForum’s Springs neighbourhood watch picked up an alleged thief on Friday 18 September after reacting to a member’s distress call. The member saw the suspect, who the Endicott and Vischkuil communities have been looking for for quite some time, on his property and informed the farm watch. The suspect is being sought for alleged theft of equipment from the member’s smallholding, as well as for burglary at the neighbouring smallholding.
The neighbourhood watch members soon picked up the suspect and the suspect was handed over to the police.
“I am very proud of the Endicott members’ speedy action. These members have done more than their share to support the community in various ways over the last few months,” says Cornel Swart, chairman of AfriForum’s Springs branch.
