Let your voice be heard against the ANC’s racial discrimination.
The ANC government is completely obsessed with race. For decades it has been clinging to legislation that discriminates based on skin colour, and every year they try to make this list longer still. One example is the government’s refusal to provide funding to the TEARS Foundation (who has been fighting gender-based violence and assisting victims for years) simply because the Foundation does not meet the black economic empowerment criteria (thus, racial criteria). The government also refused – based on race criteria – in 2020 to provide Covid relief funds to struggling small business owners in the tourism industry. Although AfriForum succeeded in having the criteria for the tourism fund declared unlawful, the ANC government is still fighting the ruling in 2022 and for its right to discrimination based on race.
Enough is enough. While the ANC government is fighting for its right to discriminate, AfriForum is fighting to end racially discriminatory legislation.
