AfriForum’s Kraaifontein, Brackenfell and Bellville neighbourhood watches receive safety training
AfriForum’s Kraaifontein, Brackenfell and Bellville neighbourhood watches received self-defence training facilitated by Cobra Self-Defence Academy headed and brought by AfriForum. Twenty-six members of these AfriForum branches participated.
The training taught members to repel knife and armed attacks, as well as to ward off rapists or attackers when they are pressed to the ground.
“Members who received the training say that the techniques are very sensible and can help to safeguard their environments,” says Leon Lamprecht, Chairperson of the AfriForum neighbourhood watch in Brackenfell.
