AfriForum has taken legal action to gather information on Eskom’s controversial contracts. It follows after Eskom deliberately held back certain information requested by AfriForum in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA). The failure of Eskom is busy causing the country untold damage. AfriForum is therefore fighting in court for transparency and consequently that the information regarding Eskom’s contract must be made known. If AfriForum is successful with the application and any anomalies can be found, action will be taken against Eskom in the strongest possible way.
